About me

Vic Stocker graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design, concentrating in Furniture Design in 2024. She received many honors throughout college, most notably winning the 2023 Student Pinnacle Award for “Jude". Her work was recognized by the Dean of Applied Design, who commissioned her to design and build a custom piece for her home. Vic seeks to continue designing custom pieces throughout her career.

My design process is driven by individuality and experimentation. So often in life we confine ourselves to boxes; however, I disagree that we all fit one box. Like fashion, furniture and interior design can be used to reflect one’s personality. I push myself to learn from new materials and processes in order to find unique, playful concepts that break these boundaries and emphasize originality.
